A proper lameness exam includes a comprehensive evaluation of your horse’s movement under varying circumstances. In most cases, a diligent assessment can unveil the principal issue and guide the recovery. Once the origin of pain is identified, further imaging and diagnostics can be utilized to generate a treatment plan and determine how to best get your horse back on track.
Pre-purchase exams are similar to a modified lameness/soundness exam. During a pre-purchase exam, we will ask about your intended goals for this horse and his/her performance history prior to catching your eye! We will provide you with an unbiased appraisal of the horse’s discernable risks, both performance and financial, derived from their presentation during the exam and any disclosed history. Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge to make an informed decision moving forward with your potential investment.
